What types of turtles can you get on the mid north coast of Australia?

My friend recently bought an eastern long neck turtle, Around $80 Aus.
I would also like to buy a turtle and possibly 2 different types, if anyone can give me info/prices of available fresh water turtles in Aus that would be great! thanks guys!

I don’t live in Australia so I can’t give you the prices but I can give you a few breeds that are easy to take care of and availible almost everywhere in the world.

A red ear slider or a yellow belly slider is a good beginner turtle, although they can grow to astonishing sizes.

And here’s a website I found full of Austrailian freshwater turtles.
