Okay, I don’t ‘show’ reptiles but I’m sure there are people who do. People really don’t normally think about animals other them dog, horses, etc. showing but I personally show rabbits. Now, there are legal ages that you have to sell certain animals at. For rabbits they have to be at least 8 weeks old. Turtles probably have a similar rule. I’m also sure that like other animals, reptile shows would have many different species of reptiles.

The federal 4″ regulation applies to businesses. Expos are an exception. You can buy many kinds of turtles there, and it is impossible to predict which kinds.

Are you sure you really want to do this? Babies are not as easy as raise as many people think. It is going to run you about $150-300 for a good set up, and take as much work as a finicky aquarium fish.

    Try for more.
