(: asked:
Are there turtles that are about 1-2 inches that live in a fish tank? what are they called?
and how much is the cost?

Unfortunately nothing stays that small forever. Aquatic turtles end up needing at least a 55 gallon aqaurium eventually.
maybe not that small but there are some that are really small and i think that they are called dollar turtles or something like that.
Here is a link, I’m pretty sure you are talking about these. They are red ear sliders. Where I’m at its illegal to sell them under (I believe) 3 inches or so. But are very common in the asian markets (outside markets). They die easy when they are that small.
red eared sliders is what my kids have. they are small, but you need to keep in a big tank, and they grow bigger. we saw some at the pet store last week for $20. we got ours in myrtle beach at a little seaside shop – well, all those little shops had them – for about $5. they need alot more care than i was led to belive! make sure you research things first! good luck!
