sometimes my mom and dad feed my turtles with the pellets i bought in downtown. i don’t really see my turtles eating it. Does it mean it wants to eat another kind of food?

yes yes it does. try going a buying a few guppies or rosy reds/minnows. or go to the pet store you bought them from and ask what they feed their turtles. and if you do feed them lettuce make sure it is not iceberg because that is the worst thing to give any animal it provides no nutrients at all so get romaine.

What kind of turtles. Depending on the kind, they can eat different things. They can all eat veggies and fruit. Try dicing them up to start with so they can eat them better. If there aquatic you can by minnows or feeder guppies or even small goldfish to try. Or if there something like box turtles you can try worms. I had two small box turtles and they loved worms. If you still can’t decide try calling the pet store. They can usually help.

I use to have one that ate chopped up brocclie, I bought frozen kind, does not need be warmed up, but thaw out some, also lettuce tear up. They did this at pet store also. He may just be bored and start eat them later on. Keep water fresh and clear. *mamatx
