		<description>this is totally normal.  as reptiles are cold blooded, they require outside sources of heat to warm them,  when they are good and  warm, they relax and sleep.</description>

		<description>Absolutely!  and they need the heat. You should try to find out what kind of turtle you have and then read up on the care for it because there are different recommendations on temperature for different kinds of turtle.</description>

They are cold blooded creatures and so they like to curl up on/under/near anything warm.  They should have a heat rock or lamp (you get them from the pet store) to do this in their tank.  Be sure you don&#039;t put anything TOO hot near them, you don&#039;t want to burn them.</description>
