How long do i need to play with my very active turtles?

    Define “play with them.” Turtles are not like cats and dogs, they don’t need to play and interact with their owners, in fact, they prefer not to.

    If you have an appropriate set-up for them, they will be happiest if you just leave them in there and let them do their turtle thing. Taking them out of their home, messing with them, or “playing” with them will only stress them out. Having turtles is more like having fish than a puppy. They are wonderful, active creatures, but are generally only to watch.

    You don’t have to play with the turtles. You just need to allow them to climb on little rocks, swim around, and eat their veggies.

    you don’t need to play with them they get enough activity inside the tank.
