how can i tell the difference between male and female turtles?

I have an aquarium with 21 baby turtles. i dont know how to tell the diffene between them. i have 2 mississippi maps one has like a ring around the eyes and the other doesnt. help please :)

    Usually the males have a slight indentation on the underside of their shells to facilitate mating.

    RES male turtles grow very long nails. You won’t be able to tell for like 4 years though until they sexually mature.
