I’ve heard that turtles migrate around the world, but why do they cross the ocean and how long does it take them to get where they’re going? Is there any research being done to find this out?

I have an obsession with sea turtles. I would LOVE to work with them. But, I’m not entirely sure I’m cut out for whatever courses I would need to take, and I would like to do more research on appropriate degree programs.

I know “sea turtles” is really limiting. If I do decide to pursue this, I will probably study something like zoology as well.

Is Marine Biology my best option?

What do sea turtles do to help the world? Why should I care about saving them, are they really in danger of going extinct?
