Red-eared sliders do eat small fish and stuff… I’m not sure it would be a good idea to put them in with the frogs. But it might be ok, just try putting them in there and watch for a while to make sure they don’t try to eat them…
Not a good idea.Baby turtles are highly carnivorous and would be biting the frogs every chance they got. Also, the RES need a tank with an area of water deep enough to swim in,and a basking area as well. They also prefer to eat in water. You need to do some research to see just what type of set-up your turtles need, get them their own tank, and feed accordingly.Salamanders would be good to put in with you frogs.
it depends. how large are the frogs and the turtles?
large frogs, these are like monstrously large bullfrogs i’m
talking about are known to consume baby turtles under two
inches long. however, if the turtles outgrow the frogs, which they probably will in a matter of 6 months will devou the frogs easy. so, for the sake of all your pets, keep turtles with turtles and frogs with frogs. I have an 8 inch red eared slider
myself and, one day we caught a large mouth bass half his
size. we put it in the tank and squirt, my turtle devoured
the thing over night. so ,please remove your turtles form the frog tank if you can, Ok?
You shouldn’t do that since red eared sliders do eat anything they can hunt down.
