I have a pond/ lake and it’s full of turtles. Can I catch them and sell them to pet stores and if so, how much can you get for them?
My daughter’s school has a male and a female turtle in an aquarium in the lobby. My three year old wants to know why they don’t have any babies. Can they have babies if they are contantly in water or on rocks? Where would they put their eggs? We live near the beach where sea turtles bury their eggs in the sand, but what about pet turtles??
i was planning on getting a turtle and i live in washington…so…i need to know where i could find a pet store that carries turtles.if anyone has a turtle and can tell me some things about how to raise them that would help A LOT.thanks!
i think i have an aquarium turtle and i dont know lots of things about them like: if they like land more than water, or if they like to be held. or if they can swim under water? ummm if you have more info plz tell me thanks :]
I know it can be done, I watched a documentary on turtles that knew martial arts, and they were only teenagers at the time.
Also, my pet turtle keeps taking bites of my pizza when I’m not looking. How can I break him of this habit?
I want to buy a turtle as a pet, and before everyone says, I have read a lot about Turtles and will make sure I look after it well.
Like dogs or cats would, i’ve had my two baby red eared sliders for about 2 months now. Im not sure if they recognize me but they seem to be more comfortable when I take them out of their tank.
ive had turtles and other reptiles my whole life, but recently my pet turtle surprised me, thinkng he was dead. He was apparently playing possum or zoning out. He’s never done this.
Hi, I was wondering if there are any pet turtle species that stay pretty small (like under 6 inches). Aquatic or not, it doesn’t matter. And how do I care for these kinds of turtles? What size of a tank can they be in (can it be 10 gallon?) . Thanks soo much!
