I have 2 pet turtles. The small one is not eating. It has some white stuff coming out of its shell from the leg and arm holes. Do turtles shed skin? Does it have fungus or is it just shedding its skin? It used to be hyperactive but now it is sleepy and dull.

I want to get a turtle or two and I have no idea where to start……

ive been wanting a pet turtle but it cant find one that will only get to 10 inches and doesnt require a HUGE home

i’m getting a pet turtle and want to know a bit more about them before i do. i’ve read up on them quite a bit but am still wondering what species to get and i need to decide this to go on to buy the right things for them, e.g a tank! so does anyone know the best species to get as a pet and any advice on how to take good care of them?! thanks ) x

i live in raleigh, north carolina. i know about the salmonella craze. but i see many people on youtube have pet turtles and they dont get salmonella. SO where can i get one?

We’ve had our red-eared sliders for years now, and they’re getting really big. They’re boring, high-maintenance pets that take up time, money, effort and space. Since nobody would buy such big turtles, is it legal to just let them into the wild?

I am thinking of buying a pet turtle from Petsmart and When i saw them they were just swimming in water. So i Have a few questions. 1) What are all the supplies i will need for a pet turtle? 2) do these turtles have an diseases? 3) do turtles have an odor?

I just moved to a new place but I stopped in Bangalore on the way to spend some time. I wanted to buy a turtle there and take it along with me because there are not any pet stores close to where I live now!!! However, I could not find any stores which carry turtles. I am going to go back to Bangalore in a few days, so I decided that I could get the turtle then. If anybody can help us, please answer soon!!!
