I had like 10 turtles, all of them died. I had a fish tank but i filled it up with artificial gravel and water. I had no water heater and my turtles lived hapily for about 1 month before they started taking really long naps, and their shells started to flake and get soft… These are baby turtles, i wanted to raise them for a lot longer but they all died… is there a foolproof method of raising these things??
I have a small painted turtle and another small turtle im guessing box turtle not but there babys and im not sure what to do with them in the winter?
I want to know if turtles eat during their hibernation. And I don’t even know if they hibernate. Answering this question will be wonderful.
I have two red eared sliders and i have had them since they were little. My question is will they survive in an outdoor pond in colorado? Will I have to bring them in in the winter…or can they stay out during the winter as long as i keep the water from freezing. The pond is about 2 feet deep.
I have a fish tank filter that has cartridges that have carbon in them but they’re kinda old and carbon particles sometimes fall out of them. Is it poisonous if they eat them by accident?
