I have 2 painted turtles and I think they’re old enough to mate. I know that I have a girl and a boy.
My turtle tank is filled with only water, with a big rock for them to climb onto. I heard that they need sand to mate. Is that true??

Do I Need to add other things so they can mate?? Pleasee help! I really want baby turtles again!

I have two RES. The male is about 3-4 inches long and the female is 2-3 inches long. I feed my turtles once a day with ReptoMin Baby floating sticks. According to a site i saw, I should feed my turltes as many as they can consume in 15 mins but I think Im overfeeding them coz their poops are long. My question is: How many sticks should i feed each turtle everyday?

Do they get like super big or do that stay like 5 inches long??
Also, how big should a regular turtles tank be??
