I have two Red eared sliders.My turtles does not want to vegetables and vitamines.The only things that thay eat are:turtle food(that i buy in apet shop),some meat , and such stuff.How can i show them or better said what can i do that they start to eat other things?
And there is one more question :how to know how old are my turtles(the shield of one turtle is 12cm and from the other 13cm ; both are males?

My boyfriend bought three red slider turtles from this fish aquarium shop. He didn’t know that they were illegal under 4 inches. What I want to do is report the shop for selling them illegally and not prompting him about the dangers of salmonella poisoning (as stated by law). Who should I report the shop to?

We live in north-western CT and in our backyard we have a pond with a plastic liner. We have 2 slider turtles and 4 bullfrogs. We want to bring them in for the winter but only have a 55 gallon tank. I was wondering if they would survive the winter in the pond or if we shuld bring them in and if we do bring them in is a 55 gallon tank big enough. THANK YOU!

I bought some turtles for the kids in China Town, NY and end up putting them in the same tank with the Fish. I got a nice turtle dock, but I notice that the turtles snaps at the Underwater frogs. Is it safe to put the turtles in the same tank or should they be separated?

I recently bought two baby red eared slider turtles and the temp is 78… I’m just wondering if its warm enough.

I am interested in buying a rare turtle on the internet. I am a little perturbed buy the fact that my very expensive turtle will be sent through the mail. Has anyone ever done this before with turtles? if so, are the turtles bought on the internet legitimate and will they be alive when i get them?

We are thinking of getting a new pet and it looks like we are planning on a turtle. Do any of you have any suggestions for a family that’s never had turtles?
